Microsoft releases preview version of its New Cortana application for Windows 10 operating system. This beta version of Cortana application comes with the brand-new design of popular Cortana application on Windows 10 operating system. New Cortana application provides a chat based UI along with the voice command interface. New Cortana is designed keeping usability in mind which allows the users to interact with Cortana by typing or through natural language queries.
Microsoft is testing completely redesigned version of Cortana Application on the Windows 10 PC. According to the media reports the new beta version of Cortana App is available for testers on the Windows 10 PC.
Microsoft releases the Cortana as an app which comes with chat-based UI for querying by typing or through natural language speech. This version of Cortana allows the users to query either by typing or speaking with the application. New version is supporting dark and light theme. App comes with less intrusive screen. This App now comes with new language model and much better performance.
The application is distributed through Microsoft Store and new update to this application will be released on the Store. Currently beta version of this application is available for US testers.

Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar and Brandon LeBlanc said that the new Cortana beta version is available for Windows 10 Insiders in US.
According to the Microsoft new Cortana beta app comes with most of the existing features of Cortana application. Currently Microsoft is rolling out new Cortana to Insiders in US and company will release it for more regions on later dates.
The new Cortana app is available in Widows 10 build no 18945. It will be released for all Windows 10 users by first half of 2020.
Microsoft posted “support voice commands on Xbox and are moving away from on-console experiences to cloud-based assistant experiences.” in a post on its official blog.
The Widows 10 build no 18945 brings new beta version of Cortana app that comes with a new UI where users can type or speak to it. This build is comes with all the features of previous application including the features like Bing answers, Assistant conversations, opening apps and managing lists. The Cortana app allows the users to set reminders, alarms and timers. The new build brings new less intrusive UI and it does not hinder with other applications in the Windows 10 operating system. This build improves the performance of app and the application is more reliable.
